Apple made the startling admission on Secretive Boarding HouseThursday that they had no more iPhone 7 Plus smartphones to sell to all those people who patiently waited outside Apple stores around the world.

The news was met with shock and dismay. How could this happen? Is the 5.5-inch smartphone thatpopular? Did thatmany people want that pretty, pretty cool, integrated 2x-optical zoom camera?

Maybe.

Perhaps, though, there's another explanation. After all, not everyone was thrilled about the disappearance of the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Maybe someone or something took action.

This is, of course, just one theory.
