Rangers from the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in California are currently on the hunt for a promposal vandal who decided to pop the big question on a beautiful, protected rock near Sandstone Peak.
Not cool, kid. Not. Cool.
SEE ALSO: Teen promposes to Emma Stone by epically recreating 'La La Land' opening numberOn Thursday afternoon, a concerned official by the name of Ranger Zach shared a photograph of the defaced rock, which now reads "PROM?" in white graffiti, to Twitter and Facebook.
"We love hearing about creative promposals," he wrote, "but damaging public lands is not the way to do it."
Also, spray painting a nice rock does not qualify as creative.
Ranger Zach went on the explain that this is the second year in a row the promposal graffiti was scrawled on the rock. He is urging anyone with information about the crime to contact dispatch.
